The Cybersecurity Foundational Course offers a comprehensive introduction to the essential domains of cybersecurity, following the ISC2 framework. This course covers the fundamental principles of cybersecurity, incident response and business continuity, access control, networking, and security operations. Participants will gain a solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts and practices, preparing them for advanced studies or entry-level positions in the cybersecurity field.
Course Objectives:
• Understand Cybersecurity Principles: Gain knowledge of the fundamental principles and best practices of cybersecurity.
• Master Key Cybersecurity Domains: Develop proficiency in the five key domains of cybersecurity: security principles, incident response and business continuity, access control, networking, and security operations.
• Incident Response and Business Continuity: Learn to develop and implement effective incident response strategies and business continuity plans.
• Access Control Management: Understand and apply access control mechanisms to protect data and systems.
• Networking and Security Operations: Gain insights into secure network design, operation, and management.

2. Incident Response and Business Continuity:
• Incident response planning and management.
• Business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security incidents.
• Developing and testing business continuity plans.
3. Access Control Domain:
• Fundamentals of access control.
• Authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA).
• Access control models (DAC, MAC, RBAC).
• Implementing and managing identity and access management (IAM).
4. Networking Domain:
• Basic networking concepts and protocols.
• Network security architectures and topologies.
• Secure network design and implementation.
• Introduction to firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
5. Security Operations:
